Faces are a library of lives: they chronicle unique stories with universal themes.

I observe, participate, and then document in photos and words that people are more alike than different and, where they are different, it’s interesting. I am concerned about endangered cultures, and try to record both the richness and the challenges of life.  When a remote tribe’s language vanishes, we all lose something, which we can neither recreate nor buy back.

I always try to do my best to take care and be aware for I never know when I’m making the last record of something.

Mine are not mere images but invitations to engage. My desire is viewer involvement, thinking and inspiring, to either ask “What lead to this moment?” or “What happens next?” The perceiver can write a story.
